Innovative Plastics, Inc. was incorporated in Huntsville, Alabama in 1989, by an experienced team of molders and mold makers. Due to its solid performance, strong growth rate, and exceptional customer service, the company was acquired in 1999 by T-H Marine Supplies, Inc., one of Innovative’s major customers.
In 2000, Innovative was relocated from Huntsville, Alabama to the former T-H Marine facility in Madison, Alabama. This move allowed Innovative to expand its molding operation from 4 machines to 10 machines, with a range from 85 tons to 500 tons.
In 2001, Innovative achieved ISO 9000 certification.
In 2002, Innovative was awarded Alabama Small Manufacturer of the year.
In 2008, Innovative acquired the assets of Integrated Power Technologies, a strong performing contract manufacturer in Huntsville, Alabama. This acquisition provided opportunity to diversify and grow in the electronic, medical, and office furniture industries.
In 2016, Innovative completed at 14,000 sq ft high-rise expansion. This expansion has allowed Innovative to increase capacity to 21 injection mold machines, with a range from 85 tons to 825 tons. In addition, Innovative has added additional ancillary equipment, such as material dryers, chillers, sonic welders, and robots in order to make our operation more efficient.
Today, Innovative Plastics, Inc., has grown from a 3 person company to 48+ employees and can run around the clock to satisfy our customers needs.
